Sledgehammers and such

When I asked my brothers if they would be willing to come help us clear out the inside of our new center home, I felt like I was asking a big favor. Who wants to wake up at 7:30 on a Saturday to do physical labor? Instead of grumbling, I got a resounding YES from all of them. They knew that a "Demolition Day" must include tearing down ceiling tiles and knocking down walls. For once in their lives, they were being encouraged to destroy things. Apparently, their feelings were shared by many. :) We are so thankful that over 100 volunteers from our supporting community came in December to help us begin work on the building. Every hour of volunteer labor that we receive is an hour less of labor that we have to pay for. So thank you to every one of you who gave of your time to help us. Below are before and after pictures of the inside of the center. We will meet one more time on January 14th to finish moving everything to the dumpster. We are excited to see what 2017 holds for us, and confident that the building will be unrecognizable by the end. Thank you again for your support, and we will be sure to keep you updated!
